Founders & Startups

When I left big agency life, I took with me all the tools and experience I’d gained in more than 15 years in the industry to focus on helping growing businesses tell their story. I’m especially passionate about amplifying the voice and beliefs of a founder throughout a growing company and helping adolescent brands through the awkward years.

My brand identity was a blend of vague, emotional feelings and concepts until she solidified them into a cohesive, compelling story.

From One Founder to Another

In 2009, I founded a summer camp for people with muscular dystrophy. Over the next 10 years, we grew to 3 states—serving hundreds of campers with special medical needs. In that time, I not only learned to be scrappy, but to document and delegate so the organization could grow in a healthy way. I learned to overcome Founder’s Syndrome, articulate my passion to people I’d never meet, and eventually successfully retire from the program. And an even bigger sign of success—since I’ve left, the program has continued in the same spirit without me and grown to 5 locations.
